<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable inkjet recording head in which incomplete ejection phenomenon is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the vicinity of an ejection opening 26, six moisture keeping holes 28 are formed penetrating an ejection opening plate 5 just like the ejection opening 26. The moisture keeping hole 28 has a diameter of 3μm. Positions of the moisture keeping holes 28 are set such that moisture keeping holes A<SB>1</SB>-F<SB>1</SB>have central positions at the intersections of a circle having a radius of 9.5μm and lines dividing that circle equally by 60°assuming the coordinate at the central position of an electrothermal conversion element 31 is (0, 0) (unit:μm). Ink is ejected from the ejection opening 26 when an electric signal is provided to the electrothermal conversion element 31 but ink is not ejected from the moisture keeping holes A<SB>1</SB>-F<SB>1</SB>because capillary force and flow resistance increase extremely. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
