PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device for a diver capable of providing information for preventing decompression sickness, nitrogen poisoning, oxygen poisoning or deficiency of oxygen in diving down to large depth and to provide its control method, a control program, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: This information processing device 100 for the diver used to dive using a plurality of cylinders storing a plurality of mixed gases in which mixture rate of a plurality of kinds of gases for diving differs, respectively, is provided with oxygen partial pressure calculation/monitoring part 27 for calculating and monitoring oxygen partial pressure. When an operator selects any cylinder to switch to the cylinder in which mixture rate of gases for diving differs, he/she performs processing for inhibiting switching to the selected cylinder when it is determined that the selected cylinder may cause deficiency of oxygen or oxygen poisoning. Consequently, even when diving using the plurality of cylinders storing the plurality of mixed gases in which the mixture rate of the plurality of kinds of gases for diving differs, it is possible to prevent switching to the cylinder which may cause oxygen poisoning or deficiency of oxygen or inform (give an alarm) of it to allow safe diving.
