PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing machine which informs a remaining portion to be washed in a car to be washed, and rapidly urges a supplementary work such as hand washing, and to provide a car washing machine which prevents any waxing step from being performed while a remaining portion to be washed is present, and dispenses with difficult supplementary work. SOLUTION: The car washing machine comprises a car shape detector 7 to detect the contour of a car to be washed, recognition units 12e and 12f to recognize portions to which car washing devices 3-6 cannot be brought close from a car body detected by the detector 7, and a display panel 14 to inform that a remaining portion to be washed is present in a portion of the car body recognized by the recognition units 12e and 12f.
