PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector which is deterred from having shorter life as much as possible by suppressing thermal deterioration of an optical member for optical transmission such as a light tunnel. SOLUTION: This projector has a light source 60, a light tunnel 70 with a heat sink which transmits light from the light source 60, a color wheel 80 receives the light incident from the light tunnel 70 and separates light of specified wavelength, and a projection means which modulates the light separated by the color wheel 80 and projects it. The light tunnel 70 with the heat sink has a heat sink part 110 where a through hole 114 is formed, a light tunnel body 120 which projects light incident from the through hole 114 from a light projection port 122, and a glass member 117 which is interposed between them.
