PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a higher-strength built-up foam polystyrene building. SOLUTION: When a foam polystyrene dome piece is molded, a U-shaped cross-section steel frame 40, which is composed of vertical members 41 and horizontal members 42, is set in molds G1 and G2, and the dome pieces 10-19 are foam-molded. The dome pieces 10-19 after molding are combined together and fixed by a fastener 21; top parts DR of the dome pieces 10-19 are engaged with a recess 22a of a top light frame body 22; a base part DB is engaged with a recess 35 of a base body 31; and the wholly dome-shaped building 100 is formed.
