The apparatus comprises a supply line (22) between a paint canister (64) and an applicator (62). A first pigging station (76) is adjacent the paint canister and a second pigging station (86) is adjacent or within the applicator. The movement of first and second pigs (20A,20B) from the first station to the second station through the supply line delivers solvent to the applicator. The supply line is translucent and includes an inside layer of friction resistant polymer and a dielectric polymer surrounding the inside layer.
