A ride-on operator platform or sulky (70) is used in connection with a small self-propelled loader (10) to provide a support for an operator. The operato r platform (70) is pivotally mounted to the loader (10) about a generally horizontal axis, and has a rear support (94,98) engaging the surface over which the loader (10) is operating to maintain the operator platform (70) at a desired position relative to the surface. The upward pivoting of rear portio ns of the operator platform (70) is limited by stop members (84), and substanti al downward pivoting is permitted.
