PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish a side surface of a helical groove in a screw-like shaft having high strength to high accuracy at low cost. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the screw-like shaft having the helical groove 11' has: a step for rough-forming the helical groove 11'' by cutting a raw material; and a step for carrying out finishing of the side surface of the rough-formed helical groove 11'' by rolling.
