PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide member capable of emitting in two directions light entering from one light source, and also to provide a glass breaking sensor using the light guide member. SOLUTION: The light guide member 1 is made of a light transmitting material and is provided with a light receiving face 11 on which light is made incident and with two light reflection face 12 on which the light entered from the light receiving face 11 is reflected to the sides different from each other relative to the optical axis A of the light receiving face 11. The light emitted from one light source L and made incident on the light receiving face 11 can be made to exit in two directions corresponding to the direction of each light reflection face 12. If this light guide member 1 is used for equipment like a glass breaking sensor that needs to emit light in two directions, a single light emitting element and a single light guide member 1 will suffice unlike the case of using a conventional light guide member; therefore, the manufacturing cost can be reduced and the miniaturization is easy.
