PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile-object detector that can suppress a variation in detection precision by controlling the position of a detecting body in a frame body. SOLUTION: This mobile-object detector is equipped with the frame body 2 provided with a bottom section 22 and, at the same time, having a space section 21 opened in a prescribed direction, the detecting body 3 which detects the moving state of a mobile body to be detected, and a circuit board 5 mounted with the detecting body 3 and housed in the space section 21. This detector is also provided with a positioning section 24 which comes into contact with the side face of the detecting body 3 in the bottom section 22 to which the detecting body 3 is faced.
