PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts to the utmost, to facilitate setting in a site, to simplify constitution, to construct a removable and replaceable principal part, and to lower total cost including maintenance cost. SOLUTION: In this roll paper supply apparatus, one or two or more spare roll paper storing cylindrical bodies 3 are erected and attached to the back of a front panel 1. The base 3a of the spare roll paper storing cylindrical body 3 declined forward faces to the lowermost part of the front panel 1, stacked rolls of paper are sequentially guided downward, and wind holes 4, 5 are provided for visually confirming the presence/absence of a roll paper P. A cutter lid 7 is provided with a circular-arc projecting part having a cutout hole part 9 formed on the lower side thereof to nip the edge of the roll paper P and draw out the paper, and connected to the lowermost designated part adjacent to the spare roll paper storing cylindrical body 3 of the front panel 1. A core support rod 6 for the roll paper P is provided and a tilting opening and closing mechanism K is provided to tilt forward the front panel 1, thereby opening the head part.
