<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the use of a motor generator for starting an engine with cranking in the case of transition to an operation mode of travel with the engine as a power source causes so much delay of engine start and transition to the operation mode of travel with the engine as the power source as well. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that the engine 12 is started for transition to the mode of travel with the engine 12 as the power source, when an engine speed is a preset value or higher, the engine 12 is started with only engine starting control such as fuel injection without the need for cranking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
