<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parameter setting device for musical sound control in which sensuous grasp of the relationship between manipulated variable of an operator and variation of a parameter value is easy, and which is capable of improving operability when setting a new parameter value. <P>SOLUTION: In the normal mode, a parameter value varies according to variation of a slider 11, therefore, it is easy to sensuously grasp the relationship between the manipulated variable of the slider 11 and the variation of the parameter value. Also, since only the slider 11 can be moved without varying the parameter value by turning on a slip button 12 to set a slip mode before the manipulated variable of the slider 11 becomes unable to cope with the variation of the parameter value, the parameter value can be varied successively, and the operability can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
