PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device equipped with a polyhedral mirror which simplifies the adjusting work so that the shape or size of an object to be inspected is altered, and the mold replacing time is shortened when the object to be inspected is altered. SOLUTION: In the image pickup device wherein the lights from a plurality of the regions of a can 1 are reflected by a polygonal pyramid mirror 4 and a plurality of reflected lights are formed into an image on the single image forming surface of a CCD camera 5, the polygonal pyramid mirror 4 is made movable and the light path of the light incident on the CCD camera 5 from the can 1 through polygonal pyramid mirror 4 is made alterable.
