PURPOSE: A retaining wall for controlling the water level of a river is provided to prevent the flood damage by controlling the water level of a river by installing a retaining wall for controlling the water level on both sides of a river. CONSTITUTION: The retaining wall(200) for controlling the water level of a river(100) comprises the steps of installing a retaining wall(210) on both sides of a river(100), piling up FRP(Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics,220) in the retaining wall(210), installing three or more hydraulic jacks(230) on an internal wall, installing a cutoff plate(240) provided with a cutoff rubber plate(241) on the front of the hydraulic jack(230) to be operated by the hydraulic jack(230), and connecting a hydraulic pipe(260) to a concrete box(250) which is formed on the upper part of the retaining wall(210) to be operated by an external hydraulic pump(270) and a generator(280). |
