The invention concerns a separator for separation of solid particles and other pollutants from liquid or gases, comprising a scrap trap with seal for liquid, and which separator can be connected to the inside of conduits. The separator is preferably used as a sanitary water seal and draining-well for water and wastewater. The separator is characterized by that its wall (5), when the separator is connecteed with a conduit (13), forms a trap and a water seal (12) for collection of solid particles and other pollutants from flowing liquid. Elastic gaskets (3) surrounds the seating (1) of the arrangement, whic centre has an opening (2) for liquid run off. Furthermore, the wall of the separator has openings (7) for flowing of liquid through the centre part of the arrangement. The uppermost part of the separator is covered by a spreader (8), which preferably has a centre part that is higher than its outer edge, and is terminated with a downwaardly bent and essentially vertical shielding (9). The separator has a fixing device (14), that preferably can be connected to an external screening (15). The lower part and opening of the separator is constructional prepared for connection an automatic shut-off device (16), which inner space has a spherical device (17) that is freely movable vertically. |
