FIELD: electrical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: the terminal has a great number of projecting leads and a cover linked with the terminal body for turning. The cover is hinge-mounted and provided with a hole to receive the cable including a great number of wires. When the respective wires are inserted in the respective ducts made on the cover, the body and the cover may be turned relative to each other with transition of the terminal to the closed position. The wires are gradually inserted in the respective leads for provision of an electrical connection. The distance between the hinge pin and the leads gets uniformly increased. Thereby, the force required for closing decreases so that the cover may closed manually, without any use of a special tool. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability of connection. ^ 10 cl, 7 dwg |
