PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved combustion chamber structural unit for a heating apparatus, shortening the time for starting combustion, namely, a starting stage in an ignition process. SOLUTION: A combustion chamber casing 12 forms a combustion chamber 26 and an ignition section 32 of an ignition mechanism 16 is protruded into the combustion chamber. On an outer periphery wall 20 for limiting the combustion chamber of the combustion chamber casing at its radial outside, a gasifying means 18 is provided which encircles at least part of the combustion chamber at its radial outside.
