COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR DIAGNOSING AND TREATING COLON CANCERS

Compositions, equipment, and methods for prognosing, diagnosing, preventing, or treating colon cancer. Colon cancer genes that are differentially express ed in colon cancer tissues relative to disease-free tissues are identified. Examples of these genes are illustrated in Tables 1-5. Colon cancer genes of the present invention and their encoded products can be used as markers or prophylactic or therapeutic agents for the detection or treatment of colon cancer.
