A valve mounting cap for a pressurized dispensing container comprises a cup shaped member 11 with an inner inverted cup shaped member 14 extending from the bottom wall which has a portion 15 that tapers radially inwardly and downwardly from the wall 12 of the cup member 11 and a portion 19 which tapers downwardly and radially outwardly forming a reinforcing rib 20. The angle x is between 15‹ and 30‹ and angle y approximately 60‹. The valve housing 21 has external ribs 25 forming a castellated top normally closed by a gasket 22. When the container is filled from a head 31 the pressure forces the gasket 22 downwardly and fluid-flows into the container between the ribs 25. |
