PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in decomposition of organic pollutants and treat hardly decomposable substances at a low cost when soil contaminated with the organic pollutants is treated with microorganisms. SOLUTION: A chemical treatment using an oxidizing agent capable of treating the organic pollutants and a microbiological treatment are applied in combination as a soil treatment method. In this case, at least either the contents or components of the organic substances contained in the soil, which is treated with microorganisms, are analyzed, and a use amount of the oxidizing agent in the treatment using the oxidizing agent is determined based on the analytical value.
