A servodrive consists of a housing (1) in which an electromotor with a pinion (3) is arranged. The pinion (3) meshes with a first toothed wheel (6a) of a planetary wheel drive (5) that forms, together with a directly adjacent tooted wheel (6b), a double-toothed wheel (6), in which the first wheel runs in a first toothed ring (7), which is joined rigidly to the housing (1) and the second toothed wheel (6b) runs in a rotatably-mounted second toothed wheel (8), which is joined to the driven part. The number of teeth of the first toothed ring (7) is non-identical to the number of teeth of the second toothed ring (8). An Independent claim is also included for use of a servomotor for actuating parking brake of a motor vehicle.
