PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and communication equipment for appropriately transmitting information to the other communication equipment in the case that constraint information changes in the communication equipment on a reception side. SOLUTION: In the communication equipment 5 on the reception side which receives electronic mail to which a delivery confirmation request is added, in the case that the constraint information constraining the reception of data changes, the change is detected and registered to an ability information management table and registered constraint information is added to a delivery confirmation response and reported to the communication equipment 1 on a transmission side.
