PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid actuator free from the increase of viscosity of the working fluid, that is, slow running of the working fluid even when the working fluid is retained under low temperature environment for a long time, which prevents the impairing of specific functions of the fluid actuator such as high-speed extension. SOLUTION: In this fluid actuator 10, a piston 16 is accommodated in a cylinder 12, fluid chambers 13a, 13b are respectively formed at both sides of the piston, and the piston is moved by the supply and discharge of the working fluid to both fluid chambers. An automatic temperature regulating valve 20 having an automatic temperature regulating function for opening and closing a valve in accordance with a temperature of the fluid in the cylinder 12 by bimetal 29 to circulate the working fluid between both fluid chambers and automatically regulate the fluid temperature, and a flow rate controlling function for opening and closing the valve by the specific fluid pressure, is mounted.
