PURPOSE: Natural yellow soil wallpaper is characterized by using wheat flour paste containing seaweeds as an adhesive bonding silk and paper, radiating far infrared ray, stabilizing vital rhythm with anion and special fragrance of yellow soil, not smelling of formaldehyde, not feeling volatile organic compounds and preventing poisonous character of cement. The wallpaper is useful for interior closing material and material for remodeling of a building. CONSTITUTION: Natural yellow soil wallpaper is obtained by the steps of: preparing good yellow soil; aging the yellow soil with water, followed by hydraulic elutriating the yellow soil over 7 times; putting proper salt to the elutriated yellow soil; scouring silk fabrics; rubbing the fabrics with the yellow soil for 20min., followed by drying the fabrics in the sun repeatedly until needed color is expressed; manufacturing soybean slurry out of soya; putting the silk fabrics into the soybean slurry to infiltrate the slurry into the silk fabric, followed by drying the fabrics; dipping the fabrics into the soybean slurry and leaving the fabrics as it is all night; drying the fabrics; dyeing the fabrics with the yellow soil solution, followed by washing the fabrics; and then adhering the dried fabrics and a backing paper with wheat flour paste containing seaweeds. |
