PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple-light discharge lamp lighting control device having a circuit lighting multiple kinds of discharge lamps connected to two output lines of one converter in parallel, making every lamp simultaneously and surely start an initial discharge without arranging any discharge starting pulse circuit at every lamp, increasing efficiency and reducing a noise-level, capable of supplying power for the controlling function of the respective lamps also from the two lines as they are. SOLUTION: Even if a driving voltage is raised not so high, as a discharge lamp voltage easily exceeds 1,000 V by applying a full-bridge type converter, the discharge lamp surely starts discharge. After the start of lighting, an efficiency and a noise suppressing effect are improved by automatically reducing the driving voltage, and after lighting, and the secondary coil induction voltage of the lamp current is utilized as an effective power source of a control circuit of the respective discharge lamps.
