A sauce rack assembly for a chafing dish includes a base (14), a rotation seat (15), a support seat (16), a rotation shaft (17), a locking member (18), a plurality of sauce racks (19), a plurality of sauce dishes (20), a container (21), a plurality of forks (22), and a plurality of spoons (23). The rotatio n seat has a periphery formed with a plurality of combination members (27) each having two sides each formed with an insertion hole (28). Each of the sauce racks has a looped portion (29) having two ends each formed with an elastic member (30) having a shaft (31) inserted into and locked in the insertion ho le of the respective combination member. Thus, the sauce racks are detachable, so that the packaging volume is reduced largely.
