PURPOSE: A high efficiency refrigerating system of an air conditioner is provided to improve refrigerating efficiency by decreasing condensing temperature. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger(22) includes an ice storage refrigerating unit(30) dropping cooling temperature of refrigerant using phase change energy of water. The ice storage refrigerating unit includes a channel changing unit changing a circulation path of refrigerant compressed by a compressor(21); a condenser(31) cooling the refrigerant; an auxiliary expansion valve(32) expanding the refrigerant passing the condenser; and an ice ball(33) installed in a case(50) of the heat exchanger changed by the channel changing unit to execute evaporation, and supplying chilled air by phase change energy of water. The channel changing unit comprises a normal valve group allowing the refrigerant to pass the compressor, the heat exchanger, an expansion valve(23), an evaporator(24) and go back to the compressor so as to form an indoor refrigerating cycle; and an ice storage valve group allowing the refrigerant to pass the compressor, the condenser, the auxiliary expansion valve, the heat exchanger and go back to the compressor so as to form an ice storage refrigerating cycle.
