PURPOSE: A smart display device is provided to perform wireless communication without an access point or a client adaptor of wireless LAN(Local Area Network) by adding a wireless LAN module to a cradle, and make a wireless LAN device such as a notebook computer and a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) use a wireless LAN service and an external network. CONSTITUTION: The smart display device comprises a wireless monitor(10), the cradle(50) receiving/transmitting a data signal transmitted from the wireless monitor or the external wireless LAN device, and a host computer(40). The host computer connects to the wireless monitor by receiving the data signal output from the cradle or outputs the data signal to an external communication tool(60). The cradle comprises the wireless LAN module, a USB(Universal Serial Bus) port installed to the wireless LAN module and the host computer, a hub connecting to a USB connector of the wireless monitor, a video connector transferring a video card output signal of the host computer to the wireless monitor, and an audio connector transferring a sound card signal to a speaker of the wireless monitor.
