The invention relates to a flame-retardant styrene polymer foam and, more specifically, to a styrene polymer foam containing a mixture of bromine compounds, comprising one or more aliphatic organobromine compounds, such as hexabromocyclododecane, and one or more aromatic organobromine compounds, such as 1,2-bis(pentabromodiphenyl)ethane. The inventive foam is suitable for use in diverse industrial sectors: packaging, piping, construction, insulation, etc.
