PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bin unit for an image forming device capable of solving various problems such as the degradation of appearance due to the deformation of a paper sheaf caused by stapling twice by the ON operation of a stapling treatment switch, and a staple jam at a staple strike-out part. SOLUTION: The bin unit is provided with a stapling device 52 for stacking a plurality of recording paper with images formed by the image forming device and applying post treatment by stapling. A determining means 6 is provided for determining whether the post treatment by stapling is already applied to the sheaf of recording paper P in performing the ON operation of a stapling request switch provided at an operating part of a bin unit body, from the presence of variation of the resistance value of a feeble electric current through the staple between the conductive parts of the staple strike-out part 521 and a support base 522.
