PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroacoustic transducer for outputting or inputting an excellent sound including a sound with a high sound pressure by largely vibrating a diaphragm. SOLUTION: Permanent magnets 6 magnetized in a direction orthogonal to faces of the diaphragm 3 are placed beneath a rear side of the diaphragm 3, coils 8 each wound in a direction so that a current flows therein in a direction orthogonal to the magnetized direction of the permanent magnets 6 are located in opposition to a circumferential face of each of the permanent magnets 6, the coils 8 are connected onto the rear side of the diaphragm 3, fulcrum members 5 each acting like a fulcrum to vibrate the diaphragm 3 are placed and provided inside each of the coils 8 in press contact with the rear side of the diaphragm 3, and the magnetic field by each of the permanent magnets 6 is applied to an N pole 9 and an S pole 10 of each of the coils 8 inversely to each other.
