STEERING GEAR FOR VEHICLE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering gear for a vehicle capable of giving proper operating reaction at the time of failure of a reaction giving means provided to give the operating reaction to a steering member and preventing a sudden change of a steering sense.

SOLUTION: A reaction motor M2to give the operating reaction to a column shaft 20 of a steering wheel 2 as the steering member is attached and a second reaction giving means 5 is connected to a shaft end part of the column shaft 20. A reaction control part 4 to control the reaction motor M2to give the proper operating reaction to the steering wheel 2 is constituted to prevent the sudden change of the steering sense by carrying out fail-judgement of the reaction giving means including the reaction motor M2and adding the specified operating reaction to the steering wheel 2 by movement of the second reaction giving means 5 by generating a motion command to the second reaction giving means 5 in the case when the fail-judgement is made.
