PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption pigment easily dispersible, reproducing colors and, especially on compounding to cosmetics, giving preferable feeling on the skin. SOLUTION: The spherical absorption pigment comprises component A comprising spherical particles covered with one or more color-providing layers and having an outermost layer of SiO<SB>2</SB>and 1-100 nm particle diameter, and component B comprising spherical particles covered with one or more color-providing layers having an outermost layer of SiO<SB>2</SB>and 0.5-50μm particle diameter.
