PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and highly reliable test method for chronic allergic reaction and a simple and highly reliable test method for chronic allergic inflammation inhibiting activity for selecting or evaluating an antiallergic drug, especially, a chronic allergic disease treatment drug (or a candidate compound thereof) on the basis of the test method. SOLUTION: The test method for chronic allergic reaction inhibiting activity is characterized in that a multivalent antigen having a plurality of specific molecules is administered to an animal in a high lgE state possessing an IgE antibody specific to a specific molecule to induce three-phase allergic reaction and a compound to be tested is administered to the animal temporally previously, simultaneously or subsequently as compared with the administration of the antigen to measure or evaluate the presence or degree of the inhibition of the allergic reaction due to the compound to be tested.
