PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human gene enabling detection of expression in various human tissues, analysis of the structure and function of the same, gene technological preparation of human proteins, and to enable analysis of the expression, pathological analysis, diagnosis and treatment of related diseases to a gene disease, cancer, or the like. SOLUTION: The subject treating method for prostate cancer comprises administration of a pharmaceutical composition comprising an antibody to human TMP (transmembrane protein)-2 protein, to a patient requiring the treatment.
