<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily and inexpensively manufacturing Mn-Zn ferrite having large electric resistance and durable enough against the use in high frequency zone exceeding 1MHz. <P>SOLUTION: Mixed powder containing 44.0-49.0 mol% Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>(wherein, excluding 49.0 mol%), 4.0-26.5 mol% ZnO, 0.1-8.0 mol% SnO<SB>2</SB>and the balance MnO and if need, containing 0.1-16.0 mol% CuO is used, is molded, fired in the air or an atmosphere containing the proper quantity of oxygen and cooled to attain high initial permeability as estimated even in high frequency zone exceeding 1 MHz. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
