PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to correct horizontal mis-convergence in advance with a small number of components. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke includes a parallel circuit and a serial circuit. The parallel circuit includes the first and second terminals(1,2), the first and second vertical deflection coils(3,4) serially connected between the first and second terminals, the first and second diodes(7,8) serially connected such that their polarities become opposite to each other, and the third and fourth diodes(9,10) serially connected such that their polarities become opposite to each other. The first and third diodes are coupled such that their polarities become opposite to each other, and the second and fourth diodes are connected such that their polarities become opposite to each other. The serial circuit includes a variable resistor(11) and the first and second fixed resistors(12,13) having the variable resistor therebetween. The serial circuit is coupled between the contact node of the first and second diodes and the contact node of the third and fourth diodes.
