PURPOSE: A broadband monopole antenna is provided to miniaturize the size, reduce the weight, and cover a multi-band by improving the bandwidth of the antenna. CONSTITUTION: A broadband monopole antenna includes a substrate(100), a ground conductor installed on a bottom of the substrate, and a feeding signal line(200) installed on a surface of the substrate. The broadband monopole antenna further includes a supporter, an antenna conductor, and a control conductor. The supporter(300) is installed to the opposite direction to the feeding signal line in order to support the antenna. The antenna conductor(400) is installed on a surface of the supporter in order to generate the multi-resonance. The control conductor(500) is used for connecting the antenna conductor to feeding signal line, supplying the current to the antenna conductor, and controlling a broadband characteristic of the antenna.
