PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave measuring device capable of precisely and stably measuring pulse waves. SOLUTION: This pulse wave measuring device is provided with a semiconductor substrate 1 having a pressure-sensitive element on a main surface, and a protective member 12 having a containing range for containing the semiconductor substrate 1. The semiconductor substrate 1 is pressed to a living body to detect pulse waves of pulsation positioned inside the living body. A wall surface 20a forming the containing range for the protective member 12 is disposed to have an air chamber 20 to an end surface of the semiconductor substrate 1.
