PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device and a cutter device both of which are adapted to the manufacture of an absorbent article not only to easily and flexibly correspond to the alteration of the specifications of a product but also to reduce the labor or time and cost accompanying the alteration of the specifications of the product. SOLUTION: The sealing device for manufacturing the absorbent article is equipped with a sealing roll 1 having a press part for forming the peripheral edge seal part of the absorbent article on its outer peripheral surface, and the sealing roll 1 comprises a core roll 2 and a plurality of the outer peripheral part forming segments 3 attached to the outer peripheral surface of the core roll 2 in a freely detachable manner. The cutter device for manufacturing the absorbent article is equipped with a cutter roll 4 having a cutting blade having a shape, which corresponds to the external shape of the absorbent article, on its outer peripheral surface, and the cutter roll 4 comprises a core roll 5 and a plurality of the outer peripheral part forming segments 6 attached to the outer peripheral surface of the core roll 5 in a freely detachable manner.
