<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning apparatus for an underfloor storage, by which not only the odor of dishes, etc., but odor, formaldehyde, and VOC, etc., generated from interior building materials, etc., in the underfloor storage are reliably removed, and also the air purifying element of the air cleaning apparatus is hardly required to be exchanged at every fixed period. <P>SOLUTION: A unit attachment base 21 with an opening part arranged at the center part is disposed at the inner side of a cover 7 which is fitted to the rear part of an opening/closing lid 4 for clogging the upper opening part of the underfloor storage. A photocatalytic deodorizing unit 20 for decomposing organic materials for detoxification is attached to the lower side of the opening part.
