<p>The device is designed as a cylindrical housing (1) provided with at least one groove (2) at its inner surface for the accommodation of at least one friction ring (3, 4) acting radial on the shaft the device is attached to. The transfer of torque is determined by the level of elasticity of the rings (3, 4) involved as well as by their size and the texture of their outer surface. Rings (3, 4) of different qualities can be combined, if required.</p> |
