METAL NANO CLUSTER, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, AND CATALYST USING THE SAME FOR ELIMINATING AIR- CONTAMINATING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal nano cluster which has an excellent catalytic function at room temperature without adding eletrochemical treatment to it and is useful as a catalyst for eliminating air-contaminating materials and so on, and also provide a production method therefor and a catalyst using the metal nano cluster for eliminating the air-contaminating materials.

SOLUTION: The metal nano cluster comprises a residue group of a transition metal complex having at least one metal-sulfur bond and/or metal-nitrogen bond and a metal nano particle. In this case, the metal or metal ion of the transition metal complex is linked with the metal nano particle through the sulfur atom forming the metal-sulfur bond and/or the nitrogen atom forming the metal-nitrogen bond.
