PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing float exhibiting action and effect of excellent usability, functionality, etc. SOLUTION: The fishing float comprises a main float 1 and a sub-float 2 having threading holes 3 and 6 for passing a fishing line through the center of each float. The main float 1 is held in a recessed storage part 5 arranged on the top of the sub-float 2 and combined into one. The buoyancy of the main float 1 and the sub-float 2 is set so that the main float 1 floats on the water surface and the sub-float 2 is sunk underwater. The storage part 5 of the sub-float 2 is formed in an approximately bowl shape and the fishing float is cast in the combined state of the main float 1 held in the storage part 5 of the sub-float 2. After landing on the water, the sub-float 2 is separated from the main float and sunk underwater. The sunk sub-float is expected to have effect of transporting a bait to a living level of fish.
