<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function setting program for a printer capable of setting the function of the printer in a client connected through a network. <P>SOLUTION: This function setting program for the printer makes a computer execute the step (S21) of transmitting an HTML file for editing a file describing the function of the printer to a client PC connected through the network and the steps (S25, S26, S27 and S28) of editing, when a character string inputted according to an acceptance screen displayed in the client PC on the basis of the HTML file is transmitted from the client (YES in step S22), the file describing the function of the printer on the basis of the transmitted character string. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
