<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the impartial distribution of an AF-class output band among a plurality of LSPs commonly using output interfaces when AF-class congestion is detected in an MPLS network supporting differential services. <P>SOLUTION: In an output interface which detects AF-class congestion, whether or not the AF-class output band to a congesting link is appropriately distributed among the LSPs at the ratio of an AF-class utilizable band obtained by subtracting an EF traffic rate from the band requested from the LSP is evaluated, and when it is evaluated that the output band is not distributed appropriately, packet discarding probability which performs the AF-class output band distribution to the congesting link at the ratio of the AF-class utilizable band obtained by subtracting the EF traffic rate from the band requested from the LSP is decided at every LSP and packets are discarded at the packet discarding probability decided at every LSP. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
