PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly illuminate the whole inspection area, while securing a work distance between an optical disk and an imaging device to some extent. SOLUTION: At inspection on the spreading quality of an adhesive of the inspection area 308 by illuminating a transparent region (the inspection area 308) on the inner circumferential side of a laminated optical disk 122 by a ring illumination 301 and imaging it by an imaging device 203, each part is set in such a way that locational relation among the inner diameter S1 of the inspection area; the outer diameter S2 of the inspection area; the inner diameter L1 of an illumination part of the ring illumination 301; the outer diameter L2 of the illumination part of the ring illumination 301; the distance LD between the ring illumination 301 and the optical disk 122; and the distance HD between the location H1 of a first principal point of the imaging device 203 and the optical disk 122 may satisfy that S2(1-LD/HD)<L1<S1(1+LD/HD)L2>S2(1+LD/HD). Since the shadow of the ring illumination is not reflected in the inspection area 308 by this, the whole inspection area 308 is uniformly illuminated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
