PURPOSE: An OSD(On Screen Display) internal memory repair system is provided to easily repair a poor cell in an internal memory using a built-in self test circuit and a spare register. CONSTITUTION: An OSD internal memory repair system includes a micro-controller unit(10), an OSD controller(20) and a memory(30). The micro-controller unit controls a process of displaying OSD image information on an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and receives information about a poor OSD image among the LCD image information displayed on the LCD from a user to output the received information. The OSD controller receives information about the poor OSD image from the micro-controller unit, finds out a poor cell storing the poor OSD image and replaces the poor cell with a spare cell using a built-in self test circuit. The OSD controller stores position information of the replaced cell, repairs the poor OSD image and outputs information about the repaired OSD image to the micro-controller unit. The memory stores the poor OSD image information. |
