<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmitter/receiver, an image transmission/reception system and an image transmission/reception method capable of generating a composite image by compositing graphics intended by a transmitter with an image received from an image transmitter/receiver on the other side and transmitting the composite image to the image transmitter/receiver on the other side. <P>SOLUTION: The image transmitter/receiver 110 is provided with an image compositing device 112 which generates the composite image by synthesizing a pickup image or a received image with the graphics to be inputted by a graphic input means, an image display device 116 which displays any of the pickup image, the received image and the composite image and an image storage device 115 which stores the pickup image, the received image and the composite image.
